We figured we’d get this one out of the way first. You were expecting it, weren’t you? No self-respecting Brooklynite can look you in the eye and tell you that Di Fara isn’t mouth-wateringly fantastic. It is. It’s worth the investment (and the time), so don’t let the hype scare you off. It really is that good.
A slice of Ciccio’s pizza will make you feel like you’ve been missing out on a very important piece of pizza flavor: the nuttiness of sesame seeds. Sprinkled gingerly on their crust, Ciccio’s rocks the palate of anybody who indulges in their house pie.
You can get a better plain slice from any of the places above, but the real star of the Spumoni Show is its Sicilian slice. Or pie. Or multiple pies. Whatever you do, try this place now. Seriously. You can’t talk pizza until you’ve had a square slice from L&B.
