The first museum specifically created for children, the Brooklyn Children’s Museum opened way back in 1899. With a permanent collection of over 30,000 objects, including musical instruments, fossils, dolls and masks, the Brooklyn Children’s Museum is a place for children to learn and engage through innovative and interaction experiences. With daily programs, summer camp and after school options, there’s always something exciting going on at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum.
